I figured hearing the names of the philosophers would expand their awareness. The problem is that Jon thinks Aristotle's major contribution is being a "bugger for the bottle".

One of my favorite Python recordings is a live version of the Parrot sketch done during one of their tours of England. Cleese is at his most shrill and it slays me every time I hear it.
