Two days before Christmas I was standing at in the dairy section of my second grocery store scanning the selection for a particular item. I glanced down at my list and noticed that HONEY BUTTER was written in capitol letters. Not just capitol letters, but carefully written capitol letters. To me, that is the albatross that forcasts the pitter patter of little feet. I went home and Tina was disapointed but not crushed by the news that I was empty handed. I went out again the next day and found my lost ark at the second store. Yesterday, I searched the soup aisle for Mrs. Grass. It's on. I don't mind the flaky cravings, the food seems to give her comfort during a time when she looks uncomfortable. While the extended quests can be frustrating (the time I went out in a snowstorm looking for kiwis sucked,) most of the time it's just a detour on the way home from work, besides my good deed has a ripple effect that helps everyone in the house. "If Mama ain't happy"...
This isn't even cravings yet, just bad morning sickness. The search continues for food that will stay in her changing body.
"Dad, what's wrong with Mom?"
"Mom's glowing kids."
God is good.

Congrats. Here's another chance to name one of your kids after me.
As if I am not emotional enough as it is! I just read the post (getting ready to post my own.... when you read mine, you may see more of the humor in the situation) and I just broke down sobbing with joy. I am SOOOO happy for the two of you.I wish we lived in proximity to each other.
Can I remind you what Ed's nickname was in high school?
:)
Well, if we are talking nicknames I'm sure we can have a long debate over which one of us had the worse nickname courtesy of Schlosser.
Wow. Congrats. When is Tina due?
