My Olympic Dreams

All the hype leading up to the olympic games has reminded me of my own olympic ambitions when I was a teenager. I trained at least twice a day and got very good. I felt certain that I would not only make the team but would win a medal. When the day came for the olympic trials, I found myself both disappointed and embarassed. I would have never in a million years thought clean and jerk had anything to do with weightlifting.
