Jon is not a breakfast eater, we have to force him to eat in the morning. Annie on the other hand, wakes up with food on her mind. On the weekend she gets out of bed and gets me up to make her something to eat. She always has a specific menu in mind. The conversation goes like this.
"Dad, will you get up and make me breakfast?"
"Dad, will you get up and make me breakfast?"
"What do you want?"
"Eggs, bacon, sausage and toast."
Her tastes go in cycles. Lately it has been oatmeal (not instant!) with a little brown sugar on the side, and half a bananna sliced with the tip off to the side because she doesn't like that part. I lay it out like this. She adds the brown sugar and bananna at the table. They say girls marry a man and expect him to treat her as well as her dad. I feel sorry for my future son in law.

Yeah, I've witnessed teh interaction between you and your daughter. Any future son in law is truly hosed.
"Daddy, will you get up and buy me a sports car?"
In addition to the above comment, let me add that I feel your joy, and share your sentiments for those boys that come into our daughters' lives (and ours!).
A few weeks ago we were watching Tv on my bed and I asked her what was the best part about being her. She said "Having you for a Daddy." I would have bought her a pony on the spot.
She is a sweetie!
