Anny And The Jet

     We have had Reese for about a month now.  She's a high energy hunting type dog that sees, hears and smells everything and then wants to dash over and get a closer look.  I don't think she'd ever really walked on a leash where she came from. Anny's first attempt to walk her lasted about twenty seconds.  Reese pulled away going after a squirrel and Anny ended up with a sore shoulder and hurt feelings.    Anny, Reese and I have been going out for walks together every day for the past three weeks (rain or shine). The picture above was taken with my phone in the early morning light and we were both moving so the quality is only slightly better than this film, Today is the first time Anny has held the leash since that first failed attempt. I was pleasantly surprised to see they are starting to figure each other out.  Of course, this puppy has ADHD and she will revert to being a clydesdale on our next outing, but we are making progress, Reese is joining the family.
