We managed to avoid the stinking Cherry Festival entirely this year. I was looking forward to seeing these guys again, but for some reason they weren't booked this year, so we had no reason to venture into the over occupied part of town. Last night was the festival finale, complete with fireworks. We decided to keep the streak alive and stay far away from the unwashed crowd of fudgies, opting for a bonfire on the beach.
After the fire, we detoured to the two tracks for a bit of this. Northern Michigan is still teeming with wildlife.
