The operation to correct Kevin's intestinal malrotation was scheduled for Friday at 4:00 but the nephrologist vetoed the plan because she felt it would be better to give his kidneys more time to rebound so he will wait until sometime next week. I spoke to his nurse this afternoon and she said he has had a quiet day but is mad about not getting any more milk. The night shift nurse held him for quite a while and that seemed to make him happy. His overall health is improving with each day that passes and we know he's getting the best care available.
Over the past two weeks a lot of people have reached out to offer support for our family in many different ways. We are all overwhelmed by the huge outpouring of caring we have seen from friends, family and people we have never met. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone that reads this.

I check Kevins blog every single morning to see how little Kevin is doing. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you always.
Tina if you did not see the posts after you asked the milk question...pump pump and pump some more...pump some every hour even, you make milk on demand and the more that is demanded the more you will make.
I will continue to check in on little Kevin every day. God bless all of you.
