Our shadows taller than our souls

Still more of the same, little Kevin is actually peeing more than big Kevin. This is the biggest problem he has with his kidneys. They keep changing his TPN around to correct this but have to wait 24 hours to determine if they went the right way. Sort of like adjusting weld settings except there is no immediate feedback. I held him for a while today, in fact, I slid the recliner back and made a nap out of it. It is well documented that I am a big fan of naps and it's that much better when there's a baby in your arms.
7:30PM- Another quiet day for Kevin, sleeping and peeing. We took a little walk down Michigan street to check out the ongoing construction of the hospital. We have been watching the progress for the past couple weeks and wanted to see it from a different angle. We have also been curious about what part of the hospital we are in. There are quite a few twists and turns between the parking garage and the NICU. We wanted to see if we could find the window of our
waiting room from the street. There is also a fountain in the main lobby. We pass it several times a day and Annie always asks for a penny to toss in so she can make a wish. Most of the time she wishes for the same thing and we never take her aim for granted.

Bam! In the water. We all have the same wish.

So Cute! Emma was born at Spectrum, i used to work around the corner at Bethlahem Church....at the preschool there.

Glad to hear that Little K is doing better. I love the pic of him without any tubes and looking at the camera...adorable.

I remember that long walk, it seemed to get shorter and shorter as the days passed, but rough at first, i had many times threw a penny in that to make a wish, and I wished for all the babies to come home soon, only 20 days for my little man but 20 days was many, i just pray everyday for all the babies up there
