Summer has come and passed

Today we head home again. We are going to do what we can to get Kevin transferred to Munson. I think he's had all the consults and tests for a while. His kidneys continue to show slight improvement and his breathing is still strong. He's also eating like a champ. The doctors were worried he may falter at that but he comes from a long line of eaters. There are a few procedures he may need but I think they can be done closer to home. There is also a question of how our insurance will feel about another ambulance ride but we are going to check on that after the holiday. Until that time, we are going to have to be weekend visitors. That's hard to do but sometimes there are no easy choices.
