Killing time and brain cells
I am a ten year fantasy football veteran of the National Flounder Patrol. You would think that sooner or later I would have a successful season. Not a chance. Last year I had Randy Moss and Tom Brady on my team. Randy Moss didn't play all year and Tom Brady was inconsistant. I shunned both players this year in favor of Reggie Bush and Marc Bulger. Both of those jokers were at the top of their game at the end of last season. Do all the homework you want, I think you still need a bit of dumb luck to succeed. Why do I subject myself to this kind of heartache and disappointment year after year? Is it my competitive spirit? Is it because I love to do math? I think it's because it's the only way I can make watching boring sports filled with overpaid crybabies exciting. Anybody interested in a fantasy Nascar league?
