Today I took them both to the river and it was a little shaky at first, they were freaked out by all the new stimuli, not to mention the first time dragging a long lead. After a few minutes of taking it all in, they calmed down and had fun. They are still not sure and never got far from me. They did get tangled a few times but after the first incident, they learned to sit still and wait for me to rescue them. Today was encouraging, these are clearly smart, confident dogs.

So much to do and see
This week has been more of the same. They continue to work on the outside toilet using. Now when they have accidents, it's mostly next to the door, but those are getting less frequent. As the freakishly warm weather continues, they are exploring more of the yard. They are still small enough to squeeze between the pickets of the fence but at the rate they're growing, that's not going to continue for long. I wonder who's going to get stuck first?
