Listening to you

The girls are back from visiting Kevin. They bring good news with them. First, the nephrologist cleared him to have surgery some time next week, we don't know when yet. He also gets to eat a little now, Tina and Annie both got to feed him. (Annie helped) He also had a hearing test today and has some hearing loss but that is probably due to the plumbing problems caused by his cleft. That condition is treatable and he should be able to hear just fine.

His Aunt Sharolyn got to hold him today too. I am not completely clear on the policy (policy is not my strong suit) but I am certain that now she can visit Kevin when we are not there. That makes me feel better because that means he will get visits from family. Things are looking up for Special K.

I know that when we were up there as long as they were on a list to have permission to see family other than the parents there name just needed to be on a list, that is helpful we had family that lived in gr so when I couldnt get up there one saturday it was nice to be able to put someone on the list to visit my son
